30/5/2012:   i took a real good break ♥ i was in ITALY for 8 days. Life was really easy over there, all you need to think of is NOTHING! Can't imagine i was sitting in an outdoor italian cafe, drinking a cup of hot macchiato in VERONA..~~ It was really a good break for me from everything.....  

01.45am....................... i'm tired but i can't sleep!!!!! still in d midst of jet lag..?

to: D' VIVA HOLIDAYS ~ SORRY !!!   It's been ages i didn't turn up in the office........ the holiday mood was really long... simply too long really made me felt useless muahahaha... i promise to get back to track asap ok.  muaksssss ~~~~~~ and thanks to everyone that came along.. u guys really made an impact and will never left my mind ~

verona.... the romeo & juliet town

where do romeo & juliet live in.....?  yes, verona !  just 2 hours away from the bustling milan city, this town is a joy .... the buildings are painted in different colours, made famous by william shakespears star-crossed lovers "romeo & juliet" and this make verona a household word.

whenever I stroll here, i find myself surrounded by little love stories — romantic snapshots fluttering in and out of my world like a butterfly.  i don't know if all of this love is related to the romeo and juliet hype — or if it's just the natural high that comes from living in such a joyful and sweet place...

 

 

 

san marco island | venice

have u ever been "in love"...? i ran my hand through my hair thinking about this question?... YES! i'm in love with venice, the sinking city!
i was standing at the pier... waiting to board a water taxi to san marco island. my feelings was like going from high to low & back to high again in less time. i wasn't quite sure is this place is as amazing as what i've watched on tv... until i reached the island.. i was feeling a little bit off balance....

WoOooow ~~~~~~~~~ this place is amazing!  much more amazing than what i've seen from tv !

san marco island... it was crowded by the time we arrived, the weather was in perfect spring, 20'C... i felt sooOoo romantic..... all around us people were enjoying themselves. some people dressed fashionably.. some people dressed very casual, some people in short bermudas.... and i noticed that the italians really love wearing jeans!  we were not the only asian groups for sure... hence i didn't think we looked too out of place, though....

and yes, venice is sinking.  the city has been slowly sinking for at least the last several centuries.  if nothing is done, the city will certainly be totally destroyed by tides & storm waves within a few decades.

i was standing beside the pier again before leaving the island... i starred at a gondola that was passing by... for a moment i seemed lost in wonder. "it's sooOoo beautiful here...." i was in love ~ and the feeling was even more wonderful than i ever imagined it could be ♥♥♥♥♥

Italy: reasons to love you....
...... when i travel abroad, getting in touch with different people from different countries, i found out that: i was actually living in a small space.. there are so many thoughts, peoples and things that i have not seen before !   i never realise TRAVEL could be like that ~ LIFE could be like that ~
