Istanbul is definitely the core. I always wanted to come here, for one sole reason. Turkey is the center of two biggest nations in the world European and Asian and how Eurasian derived and stuffs and so people being a Muslim here in Turkey, looking at people with blue eyes and blonde hair and sometimes greeting you with ‘Assalamualaikum’. Awesome in a way!
I love Turkey, Istanbul in particular obviously! The weather, the architectures, the people!
malaysia to turkey.. 10 hours non-stop flight, almost half way across the globe!
first time seeing u Blue Mosque! as they said.......... you're beautiful !
Istanbul’s skyline is dominated by two important buildings, the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. while the Hagia Sophia is no longer used for religious purposes, the Blue Mosque is very much an active place of worship.

Hagia Sophia - definitely no hardship to admire the yellow dome structure with its graceful minarets. it is a very gorgeous building on the outside, and in the inside. for me, and many others, the reason why i loved hagia sophia was because it was a fascinating opportunity to see two religions in the same building.
I call turkey ‘the fusion land’ as being bordered with so many countries make turkey different at its best ! turkey was a nice journey, although i'm back but the joy would not be gone! so i take memories as they come, accepting them all, letting them guide me whenever i can :)
the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque... such a holy place !
turkey certainly has a unique feel to it and absolutely does offer a visitor an incredible mix of culture and religion. I think more and more people are discovering its appeal these days as Istanbul itself is becoming quite a popular tourist destination. It's unique location does make it a "bridge" between cultures, which is why so many people are fascinated by this country.
